Ethnicity

In class as a group we looked at the different types of stereotypes in Ethnicity:

Dangerous
Pitied
Humorous
We also got into groups and looked at 5 different clips and tried to identify the stereotypes and the situations. Also we had to see whether it was a positive or negative representation of ethnicity.

Portrayed as a nice character at first - flips at end.

Big family - a lot of respect

Jamaican accent
Drugs
Pitied - hospitlised/ jealousy

5. Compulsion - positive/negative - sexism
Asians/ white party - wealthy
